In this contemporary world that we’re living right now, the ideas and concepts that we have discussed before were considered as very ideal since the needs and interests of the learners are also changing. Goals and objectives in education are not sometimes met due to the reason that we lack equipped education professionals, facilities and others that are badly needed to achieve the latter. Our very own experience here in the Philippines can testify that we haven’t achieved yet the fullest of education especially with our curriculum.
As they say, no two cultures are the same. But if we’re going to take a comparison between the application or implementation of the concepts of the different psychologists and philosophers, we can immediately conclude that most of these ideas were visible in the first world countries. This is due to the reason that they can provide everything for their learners especially the facilities that they will need to cater their needs. Considering the population of the students here in our country, where in the ratio of the facilities is not at par with the number of the students, we can say that it’s really impossible for the education professionals to cater the needs of their students.
The philosophies and concepts of the different psychologists if fully realized have its advantages and benefits especially to the learners. Parents not only the education professionals have the great responsibility in molding the minds of these learners.
These issues especially our experience with the poor education in the Philippines is considered as an eye opener to all education professionals to perform our great responsibility—to educate the young minds. To educate these young minds is not just considered a duty but it’s a great responsibility. Now is the time that we have to consider these concepts of the different philosophers and psychologists as these are all essential in their growth and development. It’s not just enough to sympathize with the things that we are experiencing right now like the unachieved goals and objectives in our educational system. We have to do something in order to solve these problems. It’s not just enough to give our best but to do things excellently.
